Anna entered the life settlement market in 2007 beginning her career as a Case Analyst then Quality Control Manager and ultimately becoming Director of Operations at a Life Settlement Provider based in Washington D.C. Anna’s most recent position was responsible for the oversight of RiverRock’s life settlement platform based in Austin, Texas including screening and purchasing policies for 7 closed-end Funds. Prior to RiverRock, Anna was a Director at LifebondXchange based in Luxembourg, an exchange platform that services European interests in the US SLS tertiary market, where she focused on business development, due diligence, and transaction support.

Anna brings sixteen years of experience in the U.S. life settlement market and sits as portfolio manager to 4 open-ended life settlement funds which are active in the market. The Portfolios have an AUM of over $200 Mil on across 340 + policies. Throughout her career, Anna has purchased over 1,200 policies with a Net Death Benefit of $625Mil.

From 200 to 2012 Anna was Director of Business Development at MLF LexServ where she managed LexServ’s relationships with its life settlement portfolios/ fund managers. Anna was an active member of ELSA (European Life Settlement Association). Anna began with ELSA participating in the Steering Group then ultimately being elected as Deputy Chair and Chair. Anna was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by ELSA members in recognition of her achievements on behalf of ELSA and the U.S. life settlement industry.

In October 2019, Anna was elected as Head of the US Section of the Germany-based industry association “Bundesverband Vermoegensanlagen im Zweitmarkt Lebensversicherungen e.V.” (BVZL – www.bvzl.de). Anna holds a BA in German with a double major in International Relations from the University at Bualo. Anna holds a Master of Arts Degree in Germanic Studies with a concentration in Language, Literature, and Culture from the University of Maryland College Park.
